Sushi Mentai @Sri Petaling, KL

Most of us loves sushi, so do my children. But I will always grumble when they suggested sushi because it will cause a hole in my pocket. I have stopped grumbling after we went to Sushi Mentai.

Usually most restaurants offer a plate starting from RM2.90 onwards with the better quality ones going RM5.90, RM6.90 or RM9.90. Prices in many sushi restaurants differ greatly. Recently, I have been told by a friend that, there's this restaurant Sushi Mentai that sells only two ranges of price for plates dishes that is RM1.80 (for Pink plate) and RM2.80 (for Red plate)! Now, I have stopped grumbling as I do not have to dig deep into my pocket when taking my children out for sushi.

The name Sushi Mentai was inspired from Mentaiko, a sought-after top fish roe dish and lightly flavoured with a sauce. Hence, Sushi Mentai's signature dishes are also specially served with in-house concocted Mentai sauce to bring out flavours of the inherent ingredients.
