Devonport Chocolate Store is a tourist attraction worth mention in this quaint interesting Devonport town. First, this is a hearing impaired friendly chocolate shop. The Devonport Chocloate shop is well known in North Island, New Zealand.
When I inquired further, the manager said they have a hearing impaired employee making chocolate in the kitchen. He will help out at counter if there is any hearing impaired customers or other people in need of communication. Fantastic! Handicapped friendly shop!
These are some of the loose ones I bought to try out. Each costs $3.30 and it 's delicious.
What attracted me most is this sign they put on their counter.

The chocolates are beautiful with various creative shapes.
Chocolate spoons that can be eaten, awesome!

How I wish more shops are this caring and handicap friendly, taking the trouble to put up this signage at the counter.
