Oh, I just love the tall red trees all around me! Nature at its best and almighty! There's this feeling of peace and serenity. This is The Redwoods-Whakarewara forest in Rotorua, New Zealand.
The toilets are uniquely shape and built around the trees. See the cylindrical shapes and how even the door of the toilets are concealed. Very creative!
There are signage along the trails with the estimated time of walk so that you know which route to take.

At the Redwoods entrance and i-Site information center there are food and souvenirs are sold.
How to reach here by car:
To get here, do not set your GPS to the Long Mile Road address. You will end up into some factory car park. I got lost and spend some time going around. Set GPS to Tarawera Road, then there will be signage showing the way.

Redwoods forest! Vast, spacious and surrounded by tall trees all around. It makes one feel how small mankind is compared to nature!
Entrance is free. Take a leisurely walk around according to your fitness level. I consider this my best attraction in Rotorua, New Zealand. Redwoods is a must visit for nature lovers!
