Chocolates! Anyone? "Me! me! Chocolates! I luv chocolates" This is the reply from Hani, a friend of mine who is a real chocolate addict.
So, we went to the famous Dip N Dip at The Curve on the fifth day of Hari Raya AidilFitri. It was actually for a light supper. To my surprise, it was full by 9.15pm with majority celebrating their Hari Raya.
Personally, I am not a great fan of chocolate. But looking at the menu, it was really very nice. There are many creative ways of decorating with chocolates. Here, I posted up part of the prices in the menu so that you may know the price before you go. This is the normal thing I usually do, that is have a rough idea of how much I am going to spend, rather than going into the restaurant, order, eat and then feel like it is too expensive or pricey.
There are also three types of chocolates to choose from: Milk chocolate, Dark chocolate or White chocolate. There are over 30 types of desserts and they are made from decadent Belgian chocolate.
We ordered a Triple Chocolate Crepe which cost RM17.00. Beautifully done with three types of chocolate. and know what, with the first taste of it, I got hooked. Thin crepe covered with lovely designs of sweet chocolate. Yes, sweet, and it is abit too sweet for me. "But aren't chocolates suppose to be sweet?" my daughter chipped in. You can also pre order the designs or writings with the chocolates, such as "Will you marry me?"
This Dipndip Freezy drink gives you the choice of chocolates, so we choose the white chocolate. I read from somewhere that the coffee is not so good here. But of course, when you come to this type of chocolate shop, please order everything with chocolate. I feel that Dipndip Freezy (Cost: RM18.90) is a must try, as it is richest chocolate drink with micro-chunks of real Belgian chocolate which will melt in your mouth.
Triple Chocolate Waffle is a half moon Waffle drenched with three chocolate flavours or it can be up to you.
