I love Charlie Brown cartoons especially the cute, lazy snoopy always waiting for Charlie Brown to feed it. Therefore to my surprise when suddenly I saw some Snoopy in different costumes standing at First World Hotel. I go up to First World Hotel often as I am a member of Resorts World Genting and also to enjoy the cool air. So, I was busy snapping away the photos of Snoopy around the Rainforest First World Hotel. That's all, I thought, but when I reach the Sky Avenue, wow, there's so many more waiting for me there!
Ok, to cut short my writing, this is a short video of some Snoopy on stage:
Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the comic
strip Peanuts—all creations of Charles M. Schulz—first became famous in 1950
but they have remained popular over the years. Today Snoopy still captures the
imagination of all with his funny and buoyant nature.
Snoopy, as the world knows, is Charlie Brown's pet beagle in the comic strip, Peanuts, and the lovable character will be a focal point at the country's premier hill resort with its Tour the World with Snoopy @ Resorts World Genting.
There are altogether 52 snoopy dressed in different countries costumes at Resorts World Genting to usher in the Christmas celebration. I saw many people happily taking photos with Snoopy and also the Christmas decorations. I was excited too and did try to figure out which Snoopy represented which country. Luckily, it was all labeled with the country's name which is good as this can also become a learning trip for children during school holidays. Children can learn about names of countries and the type of national clothing for each country!
Visitors to the resort can catch
Snoopy, Charlie Brown and their 11 friends—that would be Santa Claus and
company—on parade from 25 November 2017 onwards, during the Tour the World with
Snoopy period. The colourful characters
will meet and greet visitors as they spread festive cheer at SkyAvenue and
Genting Grand daily.
Genting Rewards members can look
forward to own some exclusive merchandise—a limited edition piece of Snoopy
fun. They may utilise their Genting Points to make redemption for a limited edition of Snoopy lanyard. Shoppers who spend above RM400 at SkyAvenue will receive a Snoopy
notebook while those who spend above RM600 will receive a Snoopy tote bag.
Now it's not only Christmas decorations, but with Snoopy around, it is definitely more interesting for kids now. This is another new attraction for children if they get bored at playing in the arcades.
