Lots of selfies are taken with food as most of us love food. How about going to a museum specially built for you with delectable food - Malaysian dessert food for selfie? Selfie Museum is the latest tourist attraction right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur opening on 31 August 2018! It is situated at 2nd level, Fahrenheit 88, just opposite Pavilion KL. Enjoy 5 desserts and take a selfie in this Instagram conducive colorful rooms.

Sponsored by local and international brands, such as Samsung, Pandora, Benefit Cosmetics, Baskin Robbins, Hotlink Red, TeaLive, llaollao, dUCk Scarves, and Lingham Chili Sauce, this Selfie Museum is 7,000sq ft in size.

Sean Tan, Director of the Selfie Museum, said "Selfies Museum is something new in Malaysia and this is to allow Malaysians to experience a multi-sensorial journey from sight, touch to taste. We hope to bring tourist and Malaysians alike from all walks of life together to create special moments and memories.”

Visitors can have fun filled Instagram photo-taking sessions in the nine (9) rooms showcasing larger than life dessert themed sculptures. Visitors can also taste a total of 5 free desserts served inside Selfie Museum such as Sirap cupcakes, Baskin Robbins ice cream, Pisang tarts, Lingham spicy pop corns and TeaLive bubble tea.

There are 9 themed rooms great for selfies: 1. "The Giant Cakes" by Pandora, 2. Everything's Sweet" by Benefit Cosmestics, 3. "Fluffy Path" Room, 4. "Ice-cream World" Room by Baskin Robbins, 5. "dUckies Cafe" Room by dUck Scarves 6. "Rainbow" Room, 7. "Super Happiness" Room by Samsung Galaxy, 8. "Splash Lab" by Tealive & IIaoIIao and 9. "Do-Nut-Stop" Room by Hotlink

"Rainbow" Room - A magical life-size unicorn is the star of this super colourful rainbow room. Take a selfie with the adorable unicorn after its meal of yet another insta-worthy life-size durian sculpture!

Filled with eye-catching candies and dessert sculptures, this room adds a pop of colour in photos. Visitors will also get to enjoy soft and fluffy corn or lychee marshmallows as they walk through the beautiful “Fluffy Path” to the next room.

Ice Cream World from Baskin Robbins

“Super Happiness” Room by SAMSUNG Galaxy - Here is where visitors can go ba-na-nas and jump onto a life-size banana to take photos. The room also has 3 zones featuring different interactive experiences with the latest SAMSUNG Galaxy S9+.

Today's tart is Durian tart

 “Do-Nut-Stop” Room by Hotlink - Get a sugar rush photo moment amongst life-size donuts in this room. Visitors will also receive a free local flavored tart; a choice of coconut or banana – so delicious, it’s sure to make you do-nut-stop savouring each bite.

 “The Giant Cakes” Room by Pandora 

This room displays a variety of colourful giant cake sculptures. Visitors will also get to choose a complimentary cupcake with a local flavor twist; Sirap or Gula Melaka.

Operating Days : Monday to Sunday (including Public Holidays).

Opening Hours : 10:00am to 10:00pm daily.

Normal Ticket Price : RM45 per adult, RM30 per child (below 12yrs old).

Tickets can purchased online at www.selfie.com.my and receive RM5 discount.

In conjunction with Malaysia’s 61^st National Day, Selfie Museum will be running a social media contest - #Selfielah #Selfietogether which starts from 31^st August to 30^th September 2018.
