Garlic Butter Meal, Kenny Rogers ROASTERS (KRR) butter choice!

Nice strong garlic aroma and butter was infused into the chicken and top with garlic butter sauce! Ya this is the latest year end promotion from KRR Malaysia. Kenny Rogers ROASTERS (KRR) has been my family fave, especially mother's favourite meal. My mother has been an ardent fan of Kenny Rogers ROASTERS chicken meal since its Malaysia's first franchise opening in 2008 by Berjaya Corp Bhd. My mother (at this ripe age of 93) still insist on having Kenny Rogers ROASTERS chicken meal whenever we took her out dining. 

This time around, for this garlic butter meal, the juicy tender signature rotisserie-roasted chicken was marinated with garlic and butter resulting in fragrant chicken meat. This special butter, better year end menu was launch on 16 October 2019 at Kenny Rogers ROASTERS outlet in Sunway Velocity Mall, Kuala Lumpur. There are lots of fun and activities for media with the main 'characters' of garlic and butter of course.

Garlic Butter Meal

Before I proceed about the activities, let me first introduce this mouth watering, delicious garlic butter chicken meal.

Garlic Butter Chicken Meal - RM24.90

1. Garlic Butter Chicken Meal which is made up of one (1) piece of Garlic Butter Quater Chicken + 3 side dishes + 1 piece of Kenny's Home-made Muffin. Additional creamy garlic butter gravy is poured over the chicken for the smooth buttery garlic kick. The secret to this garlic butter meal is that the two main components of garlic and butter was infused into the chicken meat. No wonder, I can detect taste the garlic and butter aroma in the chicken meat. Definitely a must have for garlic butter die-hards. 

Garlic Butter Chicken & Soup Meal - RM26.90

2.  Garlic Butter Chicken & Soup Meal consist of 1 piece of Garlic Butter Quarter Chicken + 1 side dish + 1 Kenny's Mushroom & chicken soup + 1 piece of Kenny Home-made muffin.

Garlic Butter Family Feast - RM88.80.

3. Garlic Butter Family Feast :This Garlic Butter Meal is meant for a whole family of 4 persons. It consists of one (1) whole Garlic Butter chicken + 2 side dishes + 4 pieces of Kenny Home-made Muffins + 1.5 litre of Coca-cola. A satisfying buttery garlicty meal which has the goodness of garlic and the fragrance of butter. It's just like the butter trying to tell the garlic its butter when we are together! Friends, now is the time to really butter together with the goodness and health benefits of garlic!

4. Garlic Butter Whole Chicken - RM55.00 is for Ala-carte of one whole chicken. This garlic butter whole chicken can be supplemented with other KRR delights such as beef bolognaise spaghetti, Ceasar supreme salad, coleslaw, fresh fruits salad, rice, or side dishes according to your fancy for group and family dining.

Minty Passion Mocktail -RM10.50 , (if purchase with Garlic Butter Meal its RM8.50)

After rich aromatic garlic butter meal, the best thing next is to down it with a glass of refreshing minty drink. This time around, I really love this freshly concocted Minty Passion Mocktail. A mix of tropical passion fruit topped with lime for the citrusy taste and it was garnished with fresh mint leaves. Mint leaves always gives me the soothing feeling thus I highly recommend this mocktail to all mint lovers!

Fellow media and social media influencers at this launch was treated not only to a sumptuous garlic butter meal, but was given the opportunity to be innovative and create something with some given ingredients. Well, what are they? Of course the main ingredients are bulbs of garlic and butter! We are divided into 4 teams and all were diligently at work with their own ingenuity and creativity! We were given 20 minutes. Here are the projects created by the 4 teams of yellow, green, blue and pink teams.

 Blue team is my team. We built a pergola, butter car, swimming pool, garlic flowers and natural roof with garlic skins.

They built an elaborate hut, with butter and garlic foundation, butter flowers and pots!

It was a great launch of garlic butter meal from Kenny Rogers ROASTERS and all media participants had a great time and fun.
