Rage Coffee, or Drink Rage in Mid Valley Megamall, Malaysia

Riding high on the current coffee trend and technology applications, here comes Rage Coffee. Rage Coffee, or Drink Rage is a tech cafe with new reinvented menu, and incorporating technology and community, opens in Mid Valley Megamall with new gist of Unlabel Yourself and #NeverSettle. There are a total of 11 Rage coffee that has been opened in major centers in Klang valley from Bangsar as the first cafe to Damansara, NU Sentral, Jaya One, KL Sentral, Mutiara Damansara, Menara UEM, Nucleus Tower, Shoppes, Four Seasons and BT Tower and with Mid Valley cafe as RAGE 2.0, flagship store. 

Initially, when I saw the name RAGE in my email invitation, my first thoughts would be on, "Am I invited to an event organized by the STAR newspapers popular column called R.AGE, a youth news and lifestyle platform?" Well, this is not any newspaper column, but RAGE Coffee, or Drink Rage, an attractive tech cafe here in Mid Valley is situated at the 1st floor of South Court entrance.  

Rage Coffee, or Drink Rage incorporates technology and community, a brand that has a mobile application that is designed for fellow RAGERS to connect and build relationships with their of similar interests. For example, RAGERS (people) with yoga interests can group together and become friends, or fitness enthusiasts or music lovers will be able to get to know each other through this app.  Mobile application also enables guests to order ahead, cutting queues lines and time saving. For example, the morning coffee drinkers who are rushing to work can pick up on the way to work, the workers for lunch break can order ahead so as to save the hassle of ordering and queuing at the counter. 

There are new standout meal options throughout the day, brand new frappes on top of the curated coffee and matcha based drinks. There are also alternative form of milks, coffee, matcha and even liquid desserts. (being a dessert lover, this is the first time I have heard of a liquid dessert!)

Served from a glass, this liquid dessert is thick, creamy and tastes exactly like a dessert!

In order to raise the awareness of conservation, Rage Coffee's Chai Latte is called Chaiger Latte, made with cute tiger paws. Partnering with RIMAU NGO who protects Malaysian tigers, proceeds form Chaiger latte will be to help our furry friends.

Dirty Chai - RM10.00

Chai Latte is my favourite drink, as a non coffee drinker. A must order wherever and whenever I am at a cafe, be it overseas. Thus I was amazed to find this drink call Dirty Chai. Hmmm....what is Dirty Chai? Here in Rage Coffee, I was told Dirty Chai is Chai Latte with a shot of espresso added. Hikhik, so I can bring espresso along and shot it at tigers and they will become dirty like Dirty Chai! Superb! Interesting, indeed and this Dirty Chai drink can be savoured by both Chai Latte and Coffee enthusiasts at the same instant ^-^. 

Matcha Gula Melaka - RM10.00

I was told this is 'must try' drink Rage Coffee speciality here, Matcha Gula Melaka. Yes, indeed it is special. The Matcha flavour is strong, refreshing with a milky blend of either soy, coconut or oat milk. I can taste the amazing sweetness of Gula Melaka and love the bits of garnished macerated coconut. This is a thick creamy and cooling antioxidant-rich drink which is indeed a must for Matcha and gula Melaka die-hards. This drink can be served either hot or cold.

Rage Frappes: Strawberry Milk Frappe and Pandan Gula Melaka Frappe 

Other Rage Coffee unique specialties are Clarified Coconut Pineapple Cream Tea, Bangkok Love Story and also the Strawberry Milk Frappe and Pandan Gula Melaka Frappe. For those who love strong flavours of Gula Melaka, Matcha, Pandan, coconut, this Rage Coffee, is a must visit cafe, and let's get to the Drink Rage mood!

Pair yourself with Matcha Gula Melaka and slices of cake. The drinks are indeed exceptionally good but the cakes are a bit on the sweet side to me.

RAGE is the brain child of Jevin Singh, CEO and Co-Founder of RAGE. I find the Beef Tenderloin Rice Bowl and Lamb Wraps absolutely delicious and as Jevin Singh says "pair it with a RAGE Specialty drink, it will be a match made in heaven"

Coffee Rubbed Beef Tenderloin - RM22.00

New Beef Tenderloin bowls with rice inside is now debuting in RAGE 2.0, Mid Valley. It is a healthy tasty filling bowl with rice underneath, vegetables, egg and slices of beard beef with coffee rub.

Smoked Lamb Wrap - RM22.00

The Lamb wraps are exceptionally good, which I was told it was through special partnership with Beard Brothers - the local specialists in all things BBQ. The meat was seasoned and marinated with dry coffee rubs that are churn out from coffee grinds. A great idea of not putting the used coffee beans to waste!

Tempeh and Vegetables - RM15.00

Pastas - RM16.00

 Rage Coffee or Drink Rage here offers extensive range from vegans, lactose-intolerant to alternatives of oat milk, soy milk and coconut milk!I find that Rage Coffee here does an awesome job of being specializing in Matcha based drinks which I would highly recommend to my matcha lover friends. Drink Rage or Rage coffee source their match from Niko Neko. Rage Coffee offer a harmonoius combination of Asian Spices and Western food that stimulates guests palates and sparks senses of inner joy through food.
