There are many versions, but it is the second grandest celebration after Chinese New Year in China. It is an Autumn harvest festival celebrated with joy and children playing with lanterns and praying to the Moon at night.

Dorsett Grand Subang this year held a MoonLit Splendor at its poolside in a grand style introducing new flavors of mooncakes. Various interesting activities are Origami competition, the demonstration of making mooncake by The Emperor's Chef, hands-on making snow-skin mooncake by guests, and mooncake tasting sessions.
